As some of you may remember, there was a big trouble about a horror game 'Rule of Rose' in europe, which lead to the game's ban in England - does anybody else think that this course of action was unnessicary? I mean, it was only a video-game, and it wasn't as bad and inappropriate as many labled it! Does any body else here also think that this game deserved a chance in England?

(Still that didn't stop fans of the game like me from getting it lol)

It had a few lesbian scenes I believe? Highly inappropriate, although Fear Effect 2 also had same sex relations between female characters.

Although that was more adulterous, it does have a similar theme. But why ban it? That's a bit extreme.

Actually, those scenes never existed. Not once through-out the game.
And it was banned because some really over-reacting people who had been taken in by false rumors of this.

I agree with you guys on that people over reacted on rule of rose. The only thing that I can think of that was "bad" is in the begining two little girls are playing princess and prince "I think..." And the two look like there about to kiss each other but don't. And another thing there are a few deep curtsys, But that's nothing.

Over all Rule of rose reminded me of haunting ground a bit. But I think haunting ground was a little bit better than Rule of rose in some spots.

Just bought a Gamecube for Resident Evil... Holy shit. Scary stuff.

It was release everywhere but the UK, I think... Luckily, I was able to grab a copy on Ebay since they banned it here. Well, they didn't exactly ban it, the producers just decided not to release it her because of media hype (1 simple article in a newspaper...)

It is about Jennifer, a 19 year old girl in the UK (set in 1930) who comes across an old orphanage, but is soon controlled by the kids inside (i wont give away any more plot)... I was banned because some people believed some parts of it a bit wrong (for example, two girls asking to kiss one another [though they do not] and Jennifer being put into a coffin by the kids)... strange, these are no reasons to ban it! I have seen 1000 times worse on video games! Stupid ban...!

Eh? That's a bit dumb, Mass Effect has full on lesbian sex scenes and that wasn't banned. It sounds like quite a decent game as well, and why was that banned when we get games like Manhunt?
