I think all the RE games are rather easy after the first play through since you pretty much know what to expect.
As for the barricades, it really just shows how much RE3 was rushed since crazy plot holes like this are littered all over the place. Like i said in another post, after all these years I just choose not to think about it anymore. And good point on Claire going to the diner first. My only logic for that is maybe knowing Chris has disappeared and maybe realizing the city seemed a little too quiet, maybe she stopped by the diner to try again to get in contact with Chris and tried to give him a call and noticed things were really kinda out of place. But I dunno, trying to make sense of Capcom's logic is mind numbing at times. |

Yea i've always thought re 2 was easy and not to long, but i think the shortness of the game is due to the fact that there is 2 scenarios and and both claire and leon can play either one. Still one of the best RE titles though. I like scenario B more although due to story and Mr X. Always creeps me out with the slow paced walkling.

bump.
RE2 is simply the best RE (besides the Outbreak one) game ive played. period. it took what RE1 had and totally freshened it up , even though the puzzles were still horrfyingly easy....my 7 year old nephew completed it on his 3rd time playing....sigh , when will i ever see a true survival horror game with decent puzzles? i mean , SH1 had some smackdown easy puzzles , but even those managed to outclass RE puzzles in my opinion.... /wrists
