Default Resident Evil 2

Discuss everything RE2 related in here. To start things off...

Did anyone else find it strange that Claire stopped at the diner first instead of going directly to Chris's apartment/house?

It did seem strange. Maybe she just went in there because the streets looked pretty empty (we all know why) - still, if she had not of gone there, she never would of met up with Leon.

maybe she figured chris had gone to the place a few times and figured the people at the diner knew chris and she wanted to ask where he might be and if they have seen him around. I think she felt going to his apartement would be a trap set by whoever may have been responsible for Chris's disappearence,

Ha, I never even noticed that, XD. I do agree it is strange though, hadn't she tried calling Chris and he never answered? If so, she probably figured he wasn't there and instead decided to do her search elsewhere....that or she was hungry.

Here's something I'm wondering (Mind you, it's been AGES since I've played RE2, so I don't remember it all too well): Alright, I had been told that barricades were put up all around Raccoon City to keep the infected inside, but that didn't stop anyone from coming in. If that statement is correct, then wouldn't of Claire and Leon have noticed the barricades or something?

I doubt that she had any contact with Chris prior to the outbreak; if she had, she wouldn't have shown up in Raccoon. Also, if she was planning on staying around and searching for him, why the hell didn't she pack any luggage? There is a special item in Resident Evil Outbreak called Hotel Register, which is a bill stub from when Claire last stayed at the Apple Inn, which again makes me question why, if she was intending to search for Chris, to drive to Raccoon City only on her motorcycle?

Jumping on her motorcycle and traveling to Raccoon, to me, makes it seem like she found out that Chris had disappeared THAT day and thus could be the reason why she was so worried.

Actually, they should have passed by them, because by the 28th of September, the Army had barricades surrounding Raccoon City and the Arklay Forrest. They did pull back, but they still wouldn't have taken down the barricades. How the two managed to get passed them, I guess we'll never know.

Resi 2 was good, but did anyone else think it was really, really really easy? It was good, but too short and easy.

Yup, it's very easy. I did a speedrun yesterday, completed it in 1:44 and got an A ranking. I only save it before the last William Birkin fight.

I finished it a lot of times to unlock Hunk and Tofu, so I got really fast. I completed it in 1:15 once

About the roadblocks... that's weird indeed. I also wondered why they didn't see any roadblocks. I also wonder how Claire and Leon are able to drive into Raccoon City without seeing any suspicous things. Except for the roadblocks there are zombies, dead people, wrecked cars etc everywere. I
And in Outbreak we clearly see several buildings are on fire. Wouldn't they notice this before entering Raccoon City?

Claire, I don't think it'd have been an issue because she was so determined to find Chris that even seeing that, she'd have carried on. As for Leon, due to the kind of person he was in RE2, just wanted to see what was going on and wanted to help. Although, stepping out of his car alone and leaving the door open wasn't the best of ideas.
