Wouldnt it be cool if resident evil 2 came out on the ds capcom should totally do this because resident evil deadly silence rocked

I've only played Deadly Silence once with a friends DS and it didnt really flash me. Of course its nice to play the original RE wherever you want, but thats the only positive thing. I hate all this RE-rehashing lately.

I've got Deadly Silence, but never have I felt so great a need to play Resident Evil that it couldn't wait until I got home, where I could draw the curtains and play in the pitch black dead of night. It's not quite the same effect when you're playing on a bus full of people at midday.

Resident Evil 2 is one of my favourite games of all time, so rehash? I'd love to see a remake with the same treatment they gave Rebirth, but I've pretty much acknowledged it won't happen. On DS? They had to cut corners graphically to port the original, so I'd hate to see RE2 butchered in the same way.

The old Remake RE2 discussion, hehe. For one, i'd love remakes of both RE2 and RE3 in Remake style graphics too, but Capcom eventually create more plotholes, like it happened with some additions to the Remake.

Also, i prefer if Capcom focus on creating new games rather than remaking old ones.

Not on the DS. They'd piss off sooooo many people if they REmade RE2 exclusively for the DS or any other handheld. Plus, handheld games suck compared to console games because of the fact that handhelds don't have the same power that consoles do.

Cut corners graphically on re ds i dont think so they improved the graphics from the ps 1 original and speeded up the game no pauses or load times waiting for the doors to open you have the option to skip them plus re ds had directors cut as well as original and a new touch screen game in one cartridge it was a great contribution to the re games list and re 2 would be awesome on the ds just imagine no pauses faster loading times a touch screen game maybe even a directors cut version and multiplayer extreme battle mode style.

I prefer it to be released on the PSP...

To tell you the truth, I thought that Deadly Silence wasnt all that hot, but it would be interesting to see what they could do to freshen up Resi 2 a bit.
