Hope there some uber cool Weapon merchant like in Resident Evil 4...It would be even more funny if the same weapon merchant helped Chris Redfield on his crazy journey in Resident Evil 5

bah Merchant is cool. his accent rocks. at my workplace (nightclub) i was behind the bar one night even though im just the bouncer and i asked this customer in that accent "Wha'ryou boyin'???"
So yeah i like Merchant but having him just to RE5 wouldnt be much logic me thinks. oh well.

I agree, it's like RE4 all over again. It's exactly what I've said all along, and I'm very disappointed.

I like Resident Evil , albeit i prefer Silent Hill to it , and i have to say that for me , the series started to die off pretty much after RE3 (aka raccoon city wiped from the map) ; been there , done that ; then capcom decided to launch devil may cry , which originaly was supposed to be RE4 , and i honestly am glad they put it on a different franchise , because ...well , RE = survival horror (or at least its supposed to) , whereas DMC is a full action game at heart....where you have unlimited ammo... anyways , they decided to launch RE4 , which is a gaiden story , and gave it an over-the-shoulder gameplay , which equals to the death of a great franchise. It sadens me to see RE5 going through the same path......has capcom not learned anything from the bum fiasco that was RE4....? geez... i want decaying flesh eating ZOMBIES and mutated blobs of flesh again...
