Here it goes...

The game is set in a desert wasteland kinda like the upcoming resident evil 3 movie, the gameplay is supposedly like resident evil 4, the enemies are possibly ganado/zombie things, Chris redfield is a confirmed main character and heat elements will take a big part in the game affecting you and your enemies.

Thats all i know for the moment, anyone need any new news for resi games just ask me.

I dont expect fresh RE5 news until TGS 2007, maybe even later. Its still very far off.

When some big RE5 news does come in, it will most likely be not long before the game is released...

oo i cant wait for this game, i really hope chris is the main character, hes my fave XD. Also that heat affecting idea sounds really cool.

i dont think it would be bruce... non of the gun survivors games was really good enought as to deserve a second chapter for each player, the same for the outbreak,.. no way they are going to get (sadly) another chance,.. they already had even (all of them. ) a file 2, on the other hand,... knowing that every famous game had 2 playable characters, and that all of them had a second chance/game,.. i guess the ones left are going to make their appearence in the up comings games,.. dont know for sure,.. who knows if we wil see the return of billy cohen,.. or of carlos oliveira... some how, they both were importants in the 0 and the 3rd part, and never were to be seen again,...

the rest were already seen again,...

i guess sherry had her chance in resident 4,.. and was deleted,.. sadly,.. it would have been so great to have her there, and not the stupid presidents daughter,...

The new trailer ( bloody ausome ) in which you se it set in south africa and villagers are definetly infected with las plagas ( apart from the bleeding eye guy ) so much else to say about it. go to youtube look for new resident evil 5 trailer yahoooo.

Resident Evil 5 Details Emerge News


Chris Redfield makes a return as Capcom hints towards a 2009 release for Resident Evil 5...

Following one of the more impressive trailers to emerge from E3, a recent Famitsu interview has revealed the first concise details on Capcom's Resident Evil 5.

Leading the project, Jun Takeuchi follows his directorial duties on Onimusha and producer role with Lost Planet: Extreme Condition, whilst Kenji Inafune oversees the development.

Confirming that Chris Redfield will return as the main character, Famitsu reveals that he's working for a group known as BSAA following his European investigations into Umbrella Corp. and adventures on Rockfort Island and the Antarctica. Something has occurred in the desert setting (rumoured to be an African country) and the BSAA have sent Redfield to investigate. The possessed human characters from the trailer will provide the new threat, although these are neither zombie nor ganado.

Takeuchi-san teases that the game will follow the Resident Evil formula by including a second playable character, but only adds that this will be a female character in a major role. Thankfully, there's not too long to wait as she'll make an appearance in the full-length trailer appearing on Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Store on July 27th.

Promising a very big surprise in terms of gameplay and the storyline, Takeuchi-san claims that anybody who felt Resident Evil 5 looked like its predecessor in the E3 trailer will be left with a very different opinion following the next.

With a wave of information after months and months of eerie silence, all of the good news comes at the cost of Takeuchi-san's bombshell... Resident Evil 5 will not be released "before 2008" and "no later than 2010"!

I've seen the new trailer which looks as fun as a monkey with a machine gun.
The gameplay still looks a hell of a lot to much like resi 4 though go to File download - Gamersyde to see it. Oh and if that is chris SPEAKING yes thats right speaking in the backgound then why does he sound kinda like leon s kennedy? Put comments on what you think please.
