Default More News!

this comes from gonintendo

- Besides the mansion, the police station from Resident Evil II, and the train from Resident Evil Zero have been confirmed as levels
- Half of the game takes place in locations from other games, the other half puts you in enemy/company strongholds
- Carlos Oliviera was confirmed as a playable character. Wesker is definitely in the game, but he was not confirmed/denied as a playable character
- Rocket and Grenade Launcher will make a returns
- Tilting the Nunchuck allows you to slightly move the camera to reveal hidden objects/power-ups
- Resident Evil Zero, I, II, and III will all be represented. There may be levels from other games, but Code Veronica will be ignored.
- Mr. Kawata is asked about the possibility of another Resident Evil game on Wii besides the two we know of. “We haven’t decided on that yet. We think a lot about the future of the franchise, and the best ways to keep on telling its stories.”

Hopefully it's more than just the RPD, but the BH2 scenario as well. Either way it'll be a pretty sight.

Having half of the game new is actually more than I expected, great news. After BH2 and CV's endings, both emphasising the take down, it's nice to finally be able to do it... even if it is nine years later and a rail shooter.

Well, if it means laboratories, you could be like an umbrella special forces soldier (like HUNK) - maybe like the rockfort island training facility or the Europe Branch...

I too hope it has some new stuff that we've never had before. I've grown tired of Capcom always taking the series back to places that no longer exist.

Let's hope since it's a 1st person shooter it does not follow RE's gun survivor's misfortunes. Still, i bet it will be one of the best RE games yet!
I can't wait to be fighting through the freight train with Rebecca and creeping through the eerie mansion as chris!

I'm really amped for this game. So many people groaned when it was going to be a rail shooter because of past RE first-person shooter games. I think this game will only help the series and the Wii itself.
